Dare to... Open Up (Part 1)
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which is a subject both of our hosts, Dr. Lester Clowes and Dr. Bobo Blankson, are incredibly passionate about. In this episode there are no punches pulled. But, seriously, Dads… You need space and support systems for your own mental well-being. “Just suck it up” isn’t the answer, and it’s actually the problem. Society has become a pressure cooker for everyone, and especially for Dads in many critical ways. Now, more than ever, you need to rethink mental health and the language you use, you need to create healthy, safe pressure releases for yourself, and you need to build - and own - your own bridge from “it’s okay, I’m fine” to you truly are well. The Dare to Dad Team dive into all of this, and much, much more.
